Mormon Monday

Today I'm grateful for prayers. A year ago at this time I was a complete emotional wreck. I was pregnant with my son and there were some complications. The Perinatologist at the hospital said it was safer for my baby to be delivered at 37 weeks than stay in me any longer. I had low fluid, in some of the ultrasounds his belly wasn't measuring the right size, and other little various things were going on. I was scheduled for a cesarean and was terrified my baby wouldn't be ok. I worried sine he was being born early his lungs wouldn't be fully developed. I prayed....a lot. Everyone I know prayed for me and my unborn baby....a lot. I could feel it. The day he was born I heard him scream as they were pulling him out and it was beautiful. My husband went and rushed into the other room to see him and when they brought him back he was perfect. He had no problems, his lungs were strong, he was perfectly healthy.
I KNOW it was the prayers that helped him. From everything that was going on and all the problems the doctors told me he could have he didn't have any problems at all. I'm so grateful we have a direct line to your Heavenly Father and that he listens to each of us. I know that prayers are not all answered in the way that we would like and sometimes we don't understand the answer right away, but there are no unanswered prayers.  I love this video of our prophet talking about prayers. .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zndsJTdGwLQ
